Moses reminds Israel of what they've been through and warns them to avoid idolatry or they will become like the nations they have destroyed. He reminds them that God is merciful and will have pity upon them if they return to him, but charges them not to turn away lest they become like Og King of Basan and Seon king of the Amorites.
