Good day and welcome to Episode 55 of The Equity Experience Podcast! In today's conversation, I share my thoughts on a question I recently received after facilitating a training focused on implicit bias and microaggressions; the question was "What do you do when your staff and employees are not showing up to diversity, equity, and inclusion trainings at work? How might we address this?"
One of the most important things to remember though is that we are NOT to shame, blame, or condemn anyone for not attending professional development trainings focused on diversity, equity, and inclusion. This work is a process and people are allowed to evole and grow in their own personal journeys as they work to be more equity-centered indivdiduals.
Listen in to this episode's podcast as I share my thoughts to this question!
