Today we talk to Lauren Heil, Computer Science Teacher at DSST: Byers High School. Lauren came to teaching after a career as a graphic designer for major brands. She worked at the network level at DSST to help create and launch E-school during the COVID-19 epidemic. In this episode she guides us through how she defines "design", how she uses it in her classroom and her current apprenticeship with Google focused on improving educational design.
