Eva Cox brings us a unique perspective on what some of us call 'Australia Day', and some of us call 'Invasion Day'. As a child of immigrants, Eva feels particularly uncomfortable about celebrating a day that celebrates the colonization and destruction of our First Nations people and culture. For Indigenous communities, January 26 is a day of mourning, and a day to remember when their ancestors lives changed forever.
