This is not a celebration of the 4th of July, it's a demonstration! Black and POC lives still dont matter to America. Protests continue and now the death of Vanessa Guillen at the hands of her own comrades, there is nothing to celebrate today. I'm reading 3 poems by the great Langston Hughes, the poet who inspired me. His poems about revolution are incredibly relevant to today. Also please dont judge me if I dont read the poems in good rhythm lol I'm working on it. Hope you enjoy.
