basically our job here is to be able to inspire you, to help you grow into the best person you can be . And so we're all about that helping you become better, and today we got a, discussion ,

this concept right here is basically what we're all about help other people become the best how do we make you 120%? how do we get the most out of you?

look, I gotta be honest. Like for me, the only way that I know to help somebody else is to provide as much experience mistakes that I can

like

shit, show them.

Yeah. Yeah. I'm not even sure. just give them the experience, tell them the story . Cause it seems like that works better especially younger generations. I guess I generation as well, like just sitting down and explain it. All right. boom. I went through this and this.

And I was able to get past it. This is what I learned from it. This is how I beat it. Or, Oh, this was a solution that I got from me. Don't be like me, or be like me your choice, but you get an option, it helps you to

determine like what kind of example you're going to use.

I try to make it as close to whatever that situation is at the time. so if you're going through a hardship. A breakup with old lady. I haven't been there. if you're going through to a situation were you having a hard time in business?

I've been there, I'm going through it. If you've had situations at work. I've been there so I can sit down and stand and give you stories. what helped me in and what didn't work, right? That's the only way I know how to present my ideas in that way and to help you grow, they're all strategies that you can use. i've read a couple books where they talk about different strategies on how to improve other people, but, it's hard trying to pull that diamond out of the next person. you can inspire them, but inspiration only lasts so long sometimes, motivation, that fires got to

be in them

yeah. So being able to ignite it, that's a whole nother thing. Now, if you're able to ignite talking to somebody, it's a whole nother situation.

So you're going to have something. if you're going to ignite somebody to be, to explode that next level, there's something special inside of you and that's something.

That they seen and that they were like, wow, that right there, that trait whatever, that may

they see

something that they can emulate. Maybe.

Exactly. It's not something they always want it, or they dream of to have,

so what is that the best way to do it is emulation? emulation the best way to inspire that's what inspires

emulation

and visa versa . Is inspiration based off an emulation. so in order for me to inspire you got to see something in me and then you gotta be like, okay, I want to imitate that.

You gotta make me believe that I can obtain it. So

believing . He's a human being, right.

And if you see him doing something that you always want to do, what will not make you believe it? if I little something great, I'm just a regular human being. , I'm no different than you are. the answer for me to, how to inspire people is just as being that great example is being big example

for

them.

some people let's say for instance, they never had a father in their lives. Alright, great. A good father in their lives.

So if I grew up in and i, have a kid, I'm going to be the best dad to this son. I'm going to be the great father. That's going to help them, inspire them to be a great father as well.

Hopefully right down the line.

You know what I'm saying? Possibly.

Yeah. Hopefully. Yeah. We

pray for it, but it's not necessarily always the case. Sort of question. That asks is okay. prime. now you're a coach, right? Every day, you have to find a way to make that happen. What do you, what are some strategies that you use in order to make that happen?

Most of the time, I just use examples in my life I just let them know that it's whatever they're going through, that. I've been through it or somebody else has been through it.

And they're not the only ones that's ever struggled with the problem. Yeah. whatever they're struggling with, , I just have them just give you have the thing that they're struggling with. A try through trial and error.

I just have them go through every scenario. Until they eventually just do it. I just mainly try to instill them not to quit. let them go through it. Whether they, most of the time they don't want to go through it or not, but then I just have to half the time, just have to encourage them to just keep going.

Okay.

That's all I got.

No, cause problems or coach, when those kids are looking at him there, we're going to be like that. that guy is when I look up to, he's going to be able to teach me the steps, the tools to help me get where i need, to go to, And so for him to setting the example from what to do from day one and how to execute your plans. that's something that bring out the best in you, , if someone's going ahead and

they get you propel, to that next level.

I've always looked at it like, why can not, why can't I, why not me? I should be the next person to get to the next level as well. being an example of the big

man,

cause no, not a lot of people have that. , as being a good example,

Especially younger generations, they're always low key looking for one, even if they don't, even, if they don't like to admit it

but no, in all honesty, , I don't know how you really inspire other people to do great things. Other than , being the example. and giving out your time experience.

through history, that's what we've noticed. normally, you're able to look back on role models of your ancestors prior in our generation now we're not able to really see that because , it's so much misinformation out there about your ancestors.

You don't know what's real and what's not , So being able to capitalize off the history of your ancestors is tough. they had that advantage and that's why we prospered the way that we did. And it was easier

for us to.

Inspired and encouraged. The next generation is a lot harder now because you don't have that growing up.

I went back into my history and I realized, on my family tree, there's a lot of spots that's missing.

. But my point is there is no. I look back in my ancestry to that connection, feed me all their information and everything that needs to be talked to him so that we can advance.

that's how I feel as far as. Inspired and developing other people I can only give you what I know. I can only tell you things that I know from my ex my personal experience. If I tell you, Oh,

Oh, Warren

buffet did this.

Technically I went in there, so I don't know what was going on inside of his head when he decided that, unless he sit down and tell you, and even then you don't really know, You don't like what somebody might say in front of the camera and what they say behind closed doors to their children are completely different things at times.

Maybe not all the time, but at times. So

what do you, Oh, I'm sorry, but I know you were saying that with

stories,

help them with, so I think that's big time. You could. I feel like for me, I've always learned something new. I've always learned something that could help me.

by

listening of stories, from other people,

and if you have a personal experience that you're able to tell me, do your past bro, whatever happened, that, I think that's a game changer, of you just sharing your experience and sharing, your stories and in your personal, exposure to things,

right?

Yeah. I shoot man, that's one of the, I feel like that's another key. Like you could bring out the best in people. if I Shane your

stories,

I think it's hard to do without a story,

there was a saying that said, life imitates art, don't let a lie get in the way of good art. Never heard it before. So pretty much what he's saying is that a look, if you tell them the story and you can bring it to a good point, And some things might be fudged tell that story. it's art if it brings out the best in somebody, then by all means, use it,

good stuff. You're off this stuff,

that's another strategy that could be implemented, But I don't know if it's as effective because when I was able to actually get where I'm at, there were some men in my life.

and women, there was a lot of women in my life that made it possible. Like they would say, I don't do that because this, and this.

And I'm like, man, you don't want her. She talking about, Oh, listen, back when I. I hear it. I hear it. I hear it. Then I got older and I got put in that situation again, and the shoes on the other foot, and I'm the person saying, Hey, don't do that because duh and I realized I really did

take the advice of what they were saying. Yeah.

yeah. So yeah,

that's me nice.

That's my thoughts on that.

how do we get inspired? what helps you guys? what helped motivated you guys to do what you do?

that's a good question. for me to help me get inspired. Ah, man,

I just, I like to

see someone that

has the, has greatness just beaming out of himself.

I like code Brian. He does inspire me. why, why is it because the way how he goes about

his character,

and how he's so disciplined and his

craft,

I don't know that's what gets me, because I'm a person where it's okay. It's all right. if you take it easy, here and there, and if you don't go a hundred percent all the time, But in actuality

it's a flaw basically that I have in myself. Where I don't want to go a hundred percent, but when I see someone else doing a hundred percent, the question that goes in my head is why not? Why can't I go a hundred percent?

You know what I mean?

every time.

That's what gets me.

And that's what irks me. That's what inspires me to be go a hundred percent every single time. if anything comes my way, I'm going to give it my all, there's no way of stopping me. I'm

afraid train.

Like I'm coming at you.

You felt only for money. It's two values.

the mistakes of my mentors. that drives me. Their mistakes is what inspiring me. I have an uncle that one thing he always told me was a man.

If you ever had kids, cause he was going here, he was on he and I've been on child support. He ended up getting with the wrong woman and she ended up putting him on child support out of spite. Even though he was a good father, but she still ended up putting him on child support and wouldn't let him see.

His kid is nice an agency. If you ever end up having a child, make sure you do everything in your power to take care of their child and be in a child's life. . That was motivation. Like his mistakes is what caused me to be a better father. That in other examples of great fathers, that's what caused me to be.

So in that aspect , then the other thing is when I turn a voice,

when I'm centered when i become one with my goals , And my dreams or whatever my end goal is when I'm, hone in and focus on that, it inspires me. because there's times when I'm doing things that are contrary to my goal, and I'm just kinda, out of balance I'm doing those things, but then when I center myself and I'm like, okay, this is what I said I wanted to do.

This is what I'm going to do. That inspires me. So it's those two things that really pushed me and made me go forward that the mistakes of others are like, am I here? So

my inner voice. Yeah. Yeah.

that's a good one. being a coach myself, I have that same situation. I feel like that makes me go harder in my workouts, in my studying habits, for game day, in order to get these kids to follow me.

I need to know what I'm talking about. if I'm coaching an exercise or a drill after I actually do a drill, if it's a new drill, just to make sure it's tough, just to understand what they're going and if it's good, it's not something I can physically do.

For some reason, I just have to learn it well enough. I can explain it. So it's

very important for me

to. Continue to, work on my

craft

just for, . I can help the kids , to get better to another level that I wasn't able to get to. Cause that's the main reason why anybody ever coaches?

I think personally, it's just, they just want to see. W, whatever level they couldn't get to, they want to make sure they can help degeneration get past, beyond to what

they got to. That's how I feel when it comes down to my son. It's like, when I look at him and I'm talking, like my advice is geared towards it.

I want you to be the best person that you can be, which will be better than me.

Yeah.

Regardless, like whatever level I stop at, you will out do that. that's our family. If it's going to be a legacy left, it's going to be outbid. My dad, he I'll be his father and I that's, I actually, I met him.

So he outdid his father. I outdid him. He's still living. So technically he ain't done yet. So I'm still got some work I didn't do to make sure I then yeah. My son has to outdo me. And that's the goal like to make sure I don't, it would be whatever you want to be the best at it, but make sure you do better than me.

And it's the same with my moms. I did there's things that my mom wanted to reach certain levels, but I was able to go pass him levels because I went past him. My brother and sisters also went past. And once I hit that milestone, I graduated high school. Once I hit that milestone.

Everybody. I would say that my stove, I went to college once I hit that milestone, everybody, when they did that, I saw it was nothing. You know what I'm saying? Like my little brother, my younger brother, that's right behind me, actually just, he's about to get his up associates

and there's a lot of responsibility when you're the oldest Joe.

You're automatically the example

lead the way, man.

But I will say this because it's so amazed because I made so many different types of mistakes. My youngest brother is crushing the game right now because

he's looking at his back. The advantage of been the younger, the youngest child. Oh yeah,

absolutely.

It's that's why it's better to have siblings.

Yeah.

That's important.

All right. That was definitely, yeah.

So

is there any, I want to know, For y'all in the position where you guys are at right now. Is there any like certain

strategies or

one way of doing it, or one way of not doing it, of how you can be able to bring out, like you see somebody that's at

80%,

how you could make them reach 110% or even more, Is there any way, like how you can be able to get more, even though they believe they're doing the best that they can do, It's is there like a way where you go push them are touch to nudge them

into

it's a greatness that day that you see the potential that they have.

I got nothing.

For a training. And when you're doing for training, you physically, you can do that, like through, assessments.

Yeah. That's yeah. absolutely. There is there strings that you see what your weekend or whether we get, and then you can build up for that. So that's very result oriented, but to make them, I don't know,

I'm just trying to see how I like how.

I could be able to see somebody and push them to the next level where I see,

Think about this, right? We

did a lot harder

than we did. We've done that with each other. You know what I mean? we push each other to remember that first

attempt. We did a

podcast.

Yeah, that didn't and it didn't go anywhere. And it took a while for us to connect again. Then we connected on the thing that kept fueling. It was the fact that we kept staying on each other about That's pretty much all that you can do is stay on it. Have a similar goal to be somebody that has a similar goal and stay on it and keep inspiring them.

Like lifting them up to do it right. Or getting on their nerves. That's what

I mean. That's true.

That's

how our

parents got us to this stuff that just got on my nerves.

no, he, she cleaned the room brush for convenience. Quick clap. You know what I'm saying?

That's real. So the credit card company is good.

Encouragement. Encouragement is always key. Like being able to encourage somebody to continue to push forward is monumental, right? Like just so really show somebody that you care enough about their goal and them that creates the atmosphere to where a loving atmosphere where it.

It propells you because it's a different type of energy. Cause everybody else used to use to getting stale energy from people or no light or bad negative energy. So when you get somebody that truly cares, it calls, it pushes you to move forward. It causes you to go to the next level just because it's just that's just the type of energy it is.

It's a propelling energy. That's what love is compelling energy. So it was a growing energy. So that's what it does. So in a sense, I think that's that kind of. Like for me now that I'm thinking about it and really that's, it was always loved. Like, when I really think about it, it was always love propelling the conversation, or it might've been like, it was brought on by

me.

Okay.

That was some strong guys, energy. Ain't gonna end up like what you mean? You want to be doing this, and this like scare straight for instance. It had a fear element to it. The show had a fear element to it. They were trying to scare the kids, not to go to prison. But behind that fear, that fear energy that they were pushing the anchor energy that they were pushing, it was also love behind it.

So it was like, all you know that this is, I'm doing this. Cause I want to see you do the best that you can. So if I'm hard on you, I'm hard on you because I know that you can be better.

Yeah.

You can do better than me, whatever the situation is, Like I see. I could see, you can't see you, so I'm going to open your ass for you.

I'm and we'll help you open your eyes. You know what I mean? that's, that's what I can do is I don't know.

That's been that's big right there. I don't really know. So

here's that? Yeah. So again, I find that's extremely, that's probably most important factor when it comes down to developing somebody else.

real being real like when somebody sees that you really down for them like in any form of relationship, whether it be employee boss, whether it be teacher, student, whether it be a homeboy home girl?

. It don't really matter what this is what the relationship is. if it's, if you feel like that person is truly about at you, it's going to ride for you when and help you out in that aspect.

Your going to grow because there's also an element of not wanting to let that person down. damn, you see this in me. Oh, I really want to mess up. I really do want to go to the next level. And if I go to the next level, not only are you going to be proud of me, but I'm going to be proud of me.

It creates a debt, the atmosphere that you need. that's what that greatness atmosphere is. it's like a Martin Luther King. You had. . He has so many people behind although has so many different death threats and , people hate.

And what kept him going was the fact that he knew what his end goal was. He knew what he wanted to go in. And then all the brothers that was around him that supported him, Malcolm, x it was the same thing. them brothers willing to die for him.

But that man, the reason that man became how he was because there was another brother that stepped to him and said, Hey look,

you can be better. You are better.

And it was

because of that caused him to go to the next level. It wasn't anything else. It wasn't him because he was on a self destructive path.

And most of us are in, on a self destructives in the path. And because of that, like if somebody don't come and say something to you and step up to you and try, with earnest intentions and they come with earnest because man, nothing like it, bro.

the part that you really touched on with me is that the part is selfishness because you can't really help nobody get to where they want to go, unless you get out of your own feelings about yourself?

. honestly. To really help somebody out. I want y'all to hear me out. Like I want y'all to hear me out for real, to really help somebody out. You need to get out of your own way.

Yeah.

Oh, I

need to get out of your own way. Or you put your mind your focus. Yes. On the bigger picture.

What is the big picture? The big picture is on, how am I going to get you?

To your next goal

I'm talking about the person in the mirror, that person in the mirror moving them to the side.

And look past the mirror and look at the people

in front of you. Okay.

the people that are following you, I should say, Because we're all leaders, there's somebody that's.

Yeah. True.

position. What title you have? Where are you at in life right now? There's somebody that's following you in a, you are a leader,

right? Absolutely.

So you need to be that then leader of influence. to look at all the means of what you have, whatever you got going on,

put

like shove that to the side and told behind you and be like, here, come up or less,

you got to come here.

My phone is about to die. Thank y'all so much for joining our home life. Just joining the lab and checking me out. It's my first time actually going, I hope or y'all made it on as long as y'all could. I hope I stayed on them. Do you know, if not, it's cool to thank you for a sound anyways, everybody that stopped by.

I hope y'all got something from me. If y'all didn't rewind. Cause it was something for you. All right. Yeah. Stay blessed. I love y'all and I don't really care whether you love it or not, bye

okay. Beautiful. That's beautiful.

Oh yeah. I'm definitely sure.

I seriously though, if there's anything that y'all could get from this is definitely is to really learn how to accept people from where they're at right now.

And to be able to have some type of real authentic, , authentic advice to be able to help that person to progress. Because right now we're all in a tough situation. We're all dealing with this invisible Bible, let's go around and we don't know what's going on next. and I think it's really important to have, I had, some type of support system alongside with you, and that could be able to, to this, to get you

moving to the next level, like I saw dying, I was saying before, Cause there's no way we could be able to do this on your own. There's no way to be able to make top on your own. the Will's going to be there. You're going to have the willpower by it. Shoot, man. We really got to be able to, so to join together with someone and to have that type of comradery to get to the next, to get to the next step,

hey, listen. I'm so grateful that everybody got a chance to hear this podcast. We'd greatly appreciate y'all. We really do. I think I said it twice.

we appreciate y'all for coming by for real, hope you got something from this topic.
