Few teachings of Jesus are quoted more often than, "Do not judge." Yet we live in a culture that seems increasingly quick to criticize, condemn, and define people by their worst moments.

Was Jesus telling us to abandon moral convictions? Ignore sin? Never confront wrongdoing?

In this message from Matthew 7:1–6, we discover that Jesus is addressing something much deeper than our words or opinions—He is confronting the posture of our hearts. Before we focus on the faults of others, He calls us to honestly examine our own lives, receive God's mercy, and allow that mercy to transform the way we see and respond to others.

Rather than producing indifference toward sin, Jesus shows us a better way: a life marked by humility, compassion, and a sincere desire to help others rather than condemn them.
