While breaking down the different recessions the world has faced in the past and the recoveries that came after. Throughout history we have had 26 bear markets since 1928. 15 led to recessions and 11 did not lead to a recession.
Some of the more severe recessions were the Great Depression & the Great Recession. Where the depression led to unemployment reached 24.9% in 1933. Then with the great recession we had the housing mortgage crisis. Which led to a global credit crisis with the use of bad underwriting practices.
Kevin broke down the S&P 500 Bear Market's & Recoveries from 1956-2020. Which shows the length of bear market in months, S&P decline percentages, & the length of the recovery in months.
