Clare Valley wine grower and maker, Dr Alexander Copper, will travel to the eastern Mediterranean and beyond to study drought tolerant wine varieties that could be introduced to Australia, as 1 of 19 recipients of the 2023 Nuffield Scholarship. Jill talks to Alex about his plans and how he intends to use the bursary of $30K to research these varietals. Fascinating stuff!
