May 19 – Genesis 19:1-14

This passage shows usclearly how wicked and evil humans had become. 

We see two very distinctsides of Lot’s personality. He offered protection for his visitors by bringingthem into his house and yet he was willing to offer up his daughters to themob.

What does this tell usabout Lot?

Even given his struggles,God was willing to save Lot and his family?

What does this tell usabout the God we serve?

How often have we neededto seek God’s forgiveness for our transgressions? God always forgives and lovesus unconditionally as He did Lot. Thank you, Lord.
