Anjola Ogunrombi is currently working as a Lead Learning Designer at 2U Inc, within the GetSmarter short course brand. In this role, she oversees the design and development of pedagogically sound online short courses, created in collaboration with faculty members from leading global universities. During this work, she developed an interest in diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace, and is interested in ways to develop and upskill black women and women of colour in predominantly white workplaces. Prior to this, she has worked as a teaching assistant and corporate intelligence analyst.

Anjola holds a Bachelor of Social Science (Hons) and Master of Social Science in International Relations from the University of Cape Town and has a keen interest in African peace and security, and the effect of violence and conflict on women.
