We all experience times when our personal value comes into question or feels diminished. Maybe it’s with a specific person, circumstance or a miscommunication, but you walk away feeling unseen, misunderstood or marginalized.
And it’s a pattern.
What makes it a hard pattern to turn around is that we often attribute not feeling valued to the specific person, circumstance, or miscommunication, even though it happens. A LOT.
In truth, what we are really missing is clarity around why we are unable to value ourselves.
On the latest episode of the Flirting With Enlightenment podcast, I talk about the roots of what our true intrinsic value is, and isn’t, and ways the external world can influence that delicate inner balance.
I also offer suggestions to shift perspective away from how the outside world erodes our sense of inner identification and value, and why it’s so important for us to practice going inward to really see and sense the truth of who we are - outside of money, recognition, fame and more.
