In Exodus 2 the people of God are in a world of pain. Imagine a world of brutal slavery, abuse, genocide and total dehumanization at the hands of an oppressor. While Pharaoh, the destroyer looms large, God stays quiet, if you were in Israel at the time you would have asked “Where is God, can he be trusted?”
