From the Great Minds of Lyrical Opposition, the Lyrical Ones are a podcast collective speaking from a Bay Area, Hip-Hop and Justice lens, whose mission is to oppose injustice through social awareness and systemic change.
Vikki Beretta dropped by the Lyrical Ones podcast to converse about her journey, career and artistry.
Lights, camera, action. Vikki Beretta shares the creative perspective in performance and harnessing emotional conviction. How the many sides of the jewel are used in the medium of film. At times we know how to act, other times we just don’t know how to act. Lyrical. One.
In Vikki Beretta’s upbringing, their environment was, in short, chaotic and isolating. They found escape through the tv and their headphones. Music and movies. It was art that made Vikki feel understood and less alone for many years to come. Vikki aims to give back in the same way it gave to them by creating meaningful and rich work, both light and dark.
Today, some of the things Vikki loves includes songwriting, cosplaying, photography, and make up. Vikki also channels her passion for mental health by writing in her blog with a goal of bringing awareness and to help others.
Cole illuminates the dark with insight and introspection. Sharing the light she carries with her as a musical artist from SF currently building in LA. Remember this too shall pass, and breathe.
Former Lyrical Ones host, Cross Allan returns as a guest and brings it back to the Sacred Timeline. The conversation leads to movie theaters before assigned seating, the inspiration behind having Lyrical Opposition going into film, playing couch co-op, etc.

Sineo and Alfluent, the dynamic duo return for Episode 33 to speak with extraordinary mural artist Camer-1.
Ready to listen (or watch) as Affluent, Sineo, and Camer-1 discuss the time and grind to follow your passion. For Camer1, he went from managing a youth recreation center to mural artist. He’s travelled the world, won a reality artist show and became a husband and father - as an artist.
Cameron "Camer-1" Moberg's art often has a theme of life, nature, positivity and spirituality. Growing up surrounded by concrete buildings and urban blight, Cameron wanted to contrast his surroundings by changing the mood of his community. According to Camer-1, “Bringing nature into a place where nature is lacking can often inspire and bring warmth to a cold, hard environment. Painting things of love and hope can often help someone make better decisions and continue persevering in hard times.”
Cameron resides in San Francisco with his wife and two sons where he paints murals and canvases. He is heavily involved in his community teaching classes for all ages. He curates gallery shows and art festivals as his desire is to see other artists pursue their passion of art and business.

Michael Kim-Eubanks is a multi-instrumentalist and songwriter whose sound traverses and bends different styles and generations. After losing my mother at a very young age, the people who raised me and took me in were Black. Every man I have ever loved (besides my biological brothers) have been black. The man I call my dad is Black. My pastor is Black. I am white. There isn't enough people of my complexion sharing their heart and love for Black People. I want to be the change I want to see in the world. I want to speak my heart with out restriction. I pray I have accomplished that in this poem. We will never see true change in the way race relations are dealt with in this country until people who are not Black stand up against the injustice happening to Black people.
