Making a vow should not be a flippant phrase we through out in times of distress. Vows are sacred to God, and as Pastor Daniel reminds us, they are promises God intends for us to fulfill! The advice we are given today is to not make a vow at all! If we live with integrity, doing what we say we'll do, then we'll be seen as trustworthy! There won't be a need for vows, as our word will be enough. Building this trust takes time, but is well worth the effort!
