What shapes us?

Are we the people who have raised us? Are we our friends? Do our enemies define us? Is there some immutable part of us that remains, unchanged, no matter what--or who--influences us along the way?

This week we explore these questions as we discuss Magik: Storm & Illyana, a limited series from the 60s detailing what happened to Illyana Rasputin when she was aged up in the blink of an eye, going from a child to a viable member of the X-Men.

Next week, we will be reading Eastman & Laird's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Color Classics, #1-4, as well as the TMNT Color Classics Micro-series #1: Raphael (which goes between issues #3 & 4). We invite you to read along with us, and also to watch the 1990 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles film.
