With a couple of big 8 point games and a 6 point game thrown in for good measure, we are no closer to knowing what the first week of the finals will be. But we did witness some cracking contests.
- The Dogs blew a golden opportunity to secure their finals spot.
- Melbourne & Brisbane played out a classic at the MCG. What did dropping Grundy say about the Demons?
- Geelong announced themselves as a contender and the Bombers failed a big test.
- Port Adelaide threw shade by resting 7 players. In spite of this are Carlton now "back"?
- A classic Sunday game today - the Roos are just awful.

A stunning finish to the Essendon vs Port Adelaide game Richmond were back and now they are definitely not. Where will they finish in 2024? There are woes for Melbourne but will their game style hold them in good stead come September? With all the talk around Jordan De Goey we go look through the fans lense on a number of things. There area numer of questions including how was it handled, how would we feel if it were our club and should the Saints recruit him? We've also looked at all 81 games remaining and done our ladder predictions. While it is entirely possible for St Kilda to finish 1st and North Melbourne to still make the 8, we've tried to be as accurate as possible and there are some interesting permutations.
