This week, we turn to Luke 6:27-36 to be reminded of Christ's call to . . . "Be Merciful".

• Because God is merciful to us, we are called to be merciful.
• At the heart of mercy is showing compassion, kindness, and care to others.
• God’s lavish mercy in Christ enables us to overflow with mercy . . . even in surprising ways.
• And that we ought to overflow with mercy as we
  • Marinate in God’s mercy.
  • Esteem others.
  • Recognize the plight of others.
  • Care wisely.
  • Yield to the Spirit.
• So, because of the mercy we’ve received in Christ, let’s grow in showing mercy to others.
