LIFE Groups must be our PRIORITY because community is the PURPOSE of God for His Church and our lives.

1) Every member of IBC should prioritize LIFE groups because we are CREATED for life in community.

2) Every member of IBC should prioritize LIFE groups because we all CRAVE life in community.

3) Every member of IBC should prioritize LIFE groups because we are COMMANDED to live in community.

A LIFE Group is three to twelve people covenanting together to love God; to Intentionally pursue relationships with others; to Focus on living out God’s truth; and to Engage in His mission.

a. Life together is better because our love for God should DIRECT our thoughts, but when left alone we can easily DECEIVE ourselves.

b. Life together is better because our love for God should DOMINATE our emotions, but when left alone we can easily be dominated by our emotions.

c. Life together is better because our love for God should DRIVE our actions, but when left alone we can easily become DISCOURAGED.
