The journey through Psalm 74 continues to describe to us the immense power of our Father. Reminding us that without Him there would be no day or night, there wouldn’t be anything. The Psalmist then transitions into asking God to not forget the evil things that the wicked are doing and to note that their actions are increasingly getting worse. The Psalmist also asks that God remember the poor and needy. Are we asking God to see the evil happening in our life or world, asking that He do something about it, but also asking that assistance be given those in need?
