In a continued discussion of Psalm 51, here we see the Psalmist ask that God wash him clean. We also see that God does not just want our outward appearance to be of truth and cleanliness, but also our hearts. So, though we are all weighed down by the weight of sin, our Father saw fit to cut that burden free and pay for our sins to be wiped away from our record. We truly have such a caring and great Father!
