Here the Psalmist first describes and requests that God destroy those who are against him. Making their path difficult because of what they have done. Then we see him describe how our Father is a helper in time of need and that we can have gladness and joy when we seek Him. It is interesting to note here that we don't have to deal with things or people alone, instead we can ask for God's assistance and then rejoice in His provision.
