Remember how upset the Jews in Jerusalem were when Paul was originally arrested? Well, he decides to ask the Jews in Rome whether or not they know what all is going on with his case. They end up knowing nothing about it. This speaks to how in the moment, a situation may seem and feels like there is only escalation. But once the situation has been given time, most often, it resolves itself or amounts to something much smaller than it was originally.
