Julie Clark is a pianist, composer, and singer/songwriter based in Orange County, California. Originally from Romania and raised in the US, Julie started learning piano at the age of eight, and by age 13, she had begun writing her own arrangements and originals. Music took a back seat while she pursued degrees in international studies and political science with plans to attend law school. However, she ultimately decided a music-related career was the best and only path forward, and returned to piano and performance after graduating from the University of Utah in 2014 and relocating to Las Vegas.Julie turned to streaming music on Twitch in November of 2019, and released her first piano original the next year. Her most recent compositions, ‘Sonder’ and ‘Undone’, combine modern melodies with classical chord progressions and powerful octave variations.Since moving to California in 2021, Julie has worked to create community and connection between music streamers and viewers throughout California and beyond. She has a passion for live music events and is the founder of the Twitch Music LA discord server as well as Late Night Buzz, a showcase featuring different music streamers that acts as both a live show in Southern California, as well as a livestreamed event on Twitch with virtual artists opening the show.#khordmasterkeys #khordmaster

The incredibly talented Frank Tedesco joins Khordmaster Keys this week to talk about his musical journey, livestreaming on Twitch, serenading unsuspecting people on Omegle with piano, and he also takes some time to talk about some tips and tricks (that I've never heard before) on how to be a better piano player.Frank Tedesco (b. 1992) is an American composer for games, film, and other media. His compositional style often focuses on melodically-driven themes and ideas, strong percussive elements, and rhythmic electronics. He cites a few of his top musical influences as Nobuo Uematsu, David Wise, Koji Kondo, and Hiroyuki Sawano. Frank is also a classically trained pianist and a YouTuber. Frank is a graduate from The Hartt School of Music, where he majored in Composition and gained experience composing for games, film, commercials, and chamber ensembles. A highlight during his time at Hartt was composing and performing a piano piece for the current President of Rwanda, Paul Kagame. It was at Hartt that Tedesco began his creative partnership with composer/pianist Zach Heyde. After creating a four-hand arrangement of "Sleigh Ride" for YouTube, the duo was hired part-time by Alfred Music Publishing and has completed 3 other arrangements for the company to date. Over the years Frank & Zach continued their collaborations, creating the sheet music webstore Stems Up Sound and founding Frank & Zach Piano Duets--a YouTube channel with over 325,000 subscribers.Find out more at: https://www.franktedescomusic.com/Want to record conversations like this, check out RIVERSIDE.FM: https://tinyurl.com/3u2ace4y👉🏽Join my Discord to stay connected:https://discord.gg/Tc6tdPAETs🔴 Subscribe for more amazing content: https://tinyurl.com/45kphhf2Every episode of Khordmaster Keys: https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLncBlrh_dbIPLcHNcQYJQMTibg-riVNR1Stay in the loop // link with me:Instagram - www.instagram.com/khordmasterTwitch - www.twitch.tv/khordmasterTwitter - www.twitter.com/khordmasterReddit - www.reddit.com/user/kallen815Facebook - www.facebook.com/khordmasterLinkedIn - www.linkedin.com/in/kevin-allen1Find out more about me: www.khordmaster.com👉🏽Consider becoming a Patron to support me and my content:https://www.patreon.com/khordmaster#khordmasterkeys #khordmaster #franktedesco

HEYMUN and I have been following each others music and art for couple years now, and the level of excitement I think we both had during this conversation is probably very visible through the screen.During our chat, we spoke about Ambient music, things to be aware of being a content creator, live streaming, partnering with brands and much more. It was such a fun conversation and definitely won't be the last one! HEYMUN might have to be a regular guest on Khordmaster Keys.HEYMUN is a music composer, producer and video maker. Between projects, she creates weekly music videos on her YouTube Channel and loves the music community with all her heart + soul. One afternoon HEYMUN strolled into a music store and left with a 99 dollar Yamaha guitar. A sprained left pinky from over-stressing the high E string and several written tunes later, her debut EP “HEYMUN” was released in 2014.Some pretty unexpected things came out of her debut EP. It took her out of Sydney apartment landed her in New York City for The CBGB Festival & awarded her First Place Folk/Singer-songwriter at Unsigned Only USA and Honorable Mention and The International Songwriting Competition USA.In 2016, she released her singles "Sailor" & "Youth" produced by producer Tony Buchen (The Preachers, Courtney Barnett)Fascinated by all things behind the scenes in music-making she dived into Ableton and fell in love with self-producing and the wonderful world of synthesizers. In 2018, she released her self titled full album "HEYMUN". Written, produced, performed and mixed by HEYMUN at her studio in Sydney, Australia her album was nominated for the BestNewcomer Award at The Fresh Music Awards. In 2019, she released her 1:11 album featuring the OP-1 synthesizer by Teenage Engineering and her single “Last Goodbye” was released by Teenage Engineering records. That same year she became an official Teenage Engineering mentor. In 2020 HEYMUN released HYMN another self-produced album featuring her signature balmy ambient synth soundscapes and vocals that fell into the radars of NME earning her a stellar review.HEYMUN’s works have been featured on the VERGE, Redbull Music, SynthHead Magazine, Spitfire Audio, ROLI, Genki Instruments, KORG, Analog Cases, Teenage Engineering & more.Find out more about HEYMUN here: https://www.heymun.com/Want to record conversations like this, check out RIVERSIDE.FM: https://tinyurl.com/3u2ace4y👉🏽Join my Discord to stay connected:https://discord.gg/Tc6tdPAETs🔴 Subscribe for more amazing content: https://tinyurl.com/45kphhf2Share this video with a friend: https://youtu.be/nuX5mTuw6aoEvery episode of Khordmaster Keys: https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLncBlrh_dbIPLcHNcQYJQMTibg-riVNR1Stay in the loop // link with me:Instagram - www.instagram.com/khordmasterTwitch - www.twitch.tv/khordmasterTwitter - www.twitter.com/khordmasterReddit - www.reddit.com/user/kallen815Facebook - www.facebook.com/khordmasterLinkedIn - www.linkedin.com/in/kevin-allen1Find out more about me: www.khordmaster.com👉🏽Consider becoming a Patron to support me and my content:https://www.patreon.com/khordmaster

I had the absolute pleasure of having the creator and developer of Koala Sampler, Marek Bereza, on an episode of my show.
If you know me, you know I am a huge fan of Koala Sampler.
I use it all the time, and it's one of my favorite ways of making music.
In episode 41, we talked about:
What I love most about Koala Sampler
Why Marek decided to develop this app
Marek's background
App's Marek worked on before Koala
How often Marek makes music in Koala
Upcoming updates to Koala (EXCITED!)
Where Marek sees himself in 5 years
Who Marek would want to see at a dream concert of his (dead or alive)
And what everyone wants to know: where did the name Koala come from?
It was an amazing experience and a milestone for me to have Marek on, and I really am excited for all of the other Koala Sampler users out there to watch this.
Truly hope you enjoy!

Musically, @GLASYS is the most talented person I have ever met. So incredibly excited to have him on to talk about his musical background, MIDI Art, video game memories, and much more.
GLASYS (Gil Assayas) is a pianist, synthesist, producer and vocalist who melds many genres and influences including Electronic Music, Alternative Rock, Jazz, Classical and Video Game Music.
Since relocating to the US a few years ago, GLASYS has been endorsed by major gear manufacturers such as Nord Keyboards, 64 Audio, Sequential and Spectrasonics, has developed a large social media presence with millions of video views, has been featured on the GRAMMY's website, and has had his song 'The Pressure' played at a Portland Trailblazers NBA game. Recently, he was discovered by Hip-Hop giant T-Pain on reddit and the two are now collaborating. GLASYS is also currently touring and collaborating with legendary musician and producer Todd Rundgren.
For the last few years GLASYS has been developing a unique left hand technique that allows him to play both the bass and drum parts simultaneously on a custom built MIDI controller. He often incorporates this technique in his live arrangements on his YouTube channel.
More recently, his live MIDI art videos have gone viral on TikTok.
GLASYS released his debut EP 'The Pressure' in 2016 and his first full length album ‘Defective Humanity’ (which was successfully crowd-funded on Kickstarter) in 2019. Click here to stream/download the album.
"HO. LY. SH*T! I've never seen anything like this in my life. Man. PM me if you wanna work together, bro. This is amazing!" - T-Pain.

However, she ultimately decided a music-related career was the best and only path forward, and returned to piano and performance after graduating from the University of Utah in 2014 and relocating to Las Vegas.
Julie turned to streaming music on Twitch in November of 2019, and released her first piano original the next year. Her most recent compositions, ‘Sonder’ and ‘Undone’, combine modern melodies with classical chord progressions and powerful octave variations.
Since moving to California in 2021, Julie has worked to create community and connection between music streamers and viewers throughout California and beyond. She has a passion for live music events and is the founder of the Twitch Music LA discord server as well as Late Night Buzz, a showcase featuring different music streamers that acts as both a live show in Southern California, as well as a livestreamed event on Twitch with virtual artists opening the show.

Indie-pop singer and Twitch music streamer, Anna Luther joins Khordmaster Keys to talk about her musical background, tips on how to get started streaming on Twitch, and much more.
Anna is a perfect example of why I love and appreciate having this platform so much. She is one of the most talented and nicest people I have ever met (and we haven't even actually met, YET).
A bit more on Anna: 23 year old indie-pop singer Anna Luther is a DIY artist aiming to speak to the soul. With rich vocals and deep lyrics, paired with nostalgic synths and ambient sounds, she has managed to create a soundscape all her own. While listening to recent releases like "Heavy", it is evident Anna is influenced by "Chamber Pop" and cinematic themes. Speaking to the human condition, Anna hopes to let each listener feel heard.

From the first Time I joined one of Carmela's streams, I was like I must talk to this talented musician! I share with her in this conversation how seeing her "variety show" style in one of her first streams that I caught, inspired me to start streaming myself. She may or may not start crying in this video when I share that news with her lol.
For this week's episode of Khordmaster Keys, we welcome in Anna Carmela!
Los Angeles-based recording artist Carmela is a genre-bending singer-songwriter. Influenced by rock, blues, funk, soul, and folk, she creates haunting music featuring her signature sultry, soulful voice and vintage-inspired instrumentation. Her powerhouse vocals in combination with her energetic, bubbly personality mark her as a new artist to watch. LadyGUNN Magazine says of Carmela: “Chances are you haven't heard this much personality in a vocal in a long time.”

HEYMUN and I have been following each others music and art for couple years now, and the level of excitement I think we both had during this conversation is probably very visible through the screen.
During our chat, we spoke about Ambient music, things to be aware of being a content creator, live streaming, partnering with brands and much more. It was such a fun conversation and definitely won't be the last one! HEYMUN might have to be a regular guest on Khordmaster Keys.
HEYMUN is a music composer, producer and video maker.
Between projects, she creates weekly music videos on her YouTube Channel and loves the music community with all her heart + soul.
One afternoon HEYMUN strolled into a music store and left with a 99 dollar Yamaha guitar. A sprained left pinky from over-stressing the high E string and several written tunes later, her debut EP “HEYMUN” was released in 2014.
Some pretty unexpected things came out of her debut EP. It took her out of Sydney apartment landed her in New York City for The CBGB Festival & awarded her First Place Folk/Singer-songwriter at Unsigned Only USA and Honorable Mention and The International Songwriting Competition USA.
In 2016, she released her singles "Sailor" & "Youth" produced by producer Tony Buchen (The Preachers, Courtney Barnett)
Fascinated by all things behind the scenes in music-making she dived into Ableton and fell in love with self-producing and the wonderful world of synthesizers.
In 2020 HEYMUN released HYMN another self-produced album featuring her signature balmy ambient synth soundscapes and vocals that fell into the radars of NME earning her a stellar review.
HEYMUN’s works have been featured on the VERGE, Redbull Music, SynthHead Magazine, Spitfire Audio, ROLI, Genki Instruments, KORG, Analog Cases, Teenage Engineering & more.

The incredibly talented Frank Tedesco joins Khordmaster Keys this week to talk about his musical journey, livestreaming on Twitch, serenading unsuspecting people on Omegle with piano, and he also takes some time to talk about some tips and tricks (that I've never heard before) on how to be a better piano player.
Frank Tedesco (b.
Over the years Frank & Zach continued their collaborations, creating the sheet music webstore Stems Up Sound and founding Frank & Zach Piano Duets--a YouTube channel with over 325,000 subscribers.

For today's episode of Khordmaster Keys, the host of Farm to Future (formerly Inside Out with Jane Z.) and I take turns hosting the show. We get to know each other through music, podcasting, Christmas, and more! Then, we reflect on our content creation journeys so far!
Jane Z. is the host and creator of Farm to Future (formerly Inside Out with Jane Z.), a podcast about eating better and food sustainability. Jane started her first business at age 13 and later in college, she caught the entrepreneurship bug while developing a sustainable student-run café on campus. Her fascination with sustainable food systems led her to host a radio show, organize cleantech networking events, and eventually study at the Harvard Graduate School of Design. While at Harvard, Jane co-founded room2learn, an EdTech platform turned design consultancy that worked with K-12 schools and districts to design better learning spaces. These days, Jane lives in Boston, where you'll likely find her training boxing, making gluten-free foods, and spending time outdoors.

What is it that makes you choose to join one Twitch streamer's livestream over another?
To me, that is an important question I ask myself when thinking of ways to make my livestreams more enjoyable for my viewers.
Enter Raquel Lily. For some reason, whenever she is live, I have to stop in to see what's going on and hang out with her and her dope online community.
Raquel blends incredible musicianship and comedy into a product that is always entertaining and extremely fun to be a part of.
In our conversation, we talk about her favorite in-person live performance experience, why she loves streaming on Twitch, cooking, travel, cats, and a lot more.
Connect with Raquel on Twitch (www.twitch.tv/raquel) or Instagram (@raquel_lily)
or here_ https://linktr.ee/RaquelLily
A little more about Raquel:
Born in the Philippines, raised in New York and currently residing in Atlanta, Georgia, Raquel is typically known through the live streaming platform, Twitch. However, the independent musician and producer’s background originally emerged from the medical field. Holding a degree in Neurobiology, Physiology & Behavior upon graduating UC Davis, Lily left to feed her creativity and began online streaming in 2017.
“I’m Leaving” is a soulful classic nod that speaks on a timeless strength of walking away. The sonic atmosphere stays in its lane of classic R&B but offers chimes of jazz, funky grooves, and era based synths which are equally drenched in soul and electronics (Girl Underground Music). Using a multicultural childhood to infuse her music with an amalgam of sounds and instruments, Lily delivers a fresh and unique sound, entirely her own.
