At Humber, Accessible Learning Services (ALS) works with students and staff to ensure that learners have what they need to be successful by providing a range of supports, including; academic accommodations, assistive technology training and referral to on-campus and community services. Here’s how to get started:**

Step 1: Schedule an Appointment with ALS

• Please contact us as soon as you have been accepted into a program at Humber or Guelph-Humber, or if you are already in a program and you are experiencing disability related barriers to learning.
• You may contact Accessible Learning Services (ALS) in person, by phone, or email to book an appointment to meet with a member of our team who will explain our services and the resources available.

Step 2: Attend Your Appointment with ALS

• We encourage you to bring your disability-related documentation to your first appointment. Documentation requirements vary depending on the nature of the disability. For specific information, please review the Disability Documentation Requirements.
• At this appointment you will discuss your accommodation needs and learn about resources available to support your learning. You may find it helpful to prepare in advance any questions you would like to ask. If you need to re-schedule, please contact us.
