A terrific question; in other words, if there's nothing broken should we try to fix it? Given that studies are yet to agree on what causes most running related injuries, blaming running technique for injury is a very grey area. For example, for every runner who runs with a dropped hip and suffers from Iliotibial Band Syndrome, there are a host of other hip dropping runners who are not suffering whatsoever.
It's a world of confusion and misinterpretation, which is exactly why Runchatlive exists: to help dispel the myths and misconceptions that fill the world of running injury and performance.
