In this episode, Toria chats to transition guru Liz Stevenson about transition and why it is so important that we get this right at all ages and stages.
Liz currently works in Primary School Improvement in Birmingham but in the last 23 years has worked in Primary, Secondary and Special Education. Prior to her current post she was the Transition Manager for a Local Authority working with KS2 and 3 children, staff and parents.
She writes a blog that offers more food for thought around how to support children through the muddy waters of transition, rather than steadfast solutions. She co-founded the TransitionEd movement, hosting an annual online conference with speakers from around the world and with varying experiences and expertise in the field.
You can find Liz on Twitter @Lstevenson2410, follow her Blog Transition Matters or if you wanted you could catch up on the last 3 years of TransitonEd conferences you can find them on the website.
