Join us for the next episode of the Our Daily Magic Podcast (LIVE from the Facebook Group) as "I am Magickai" aka Kaí and Dell Henderson aka The True Essence Connector will be interviewing Basia Henderson.
Basia is a Life & Business Coach with over 10 years of experience in Learning and Development (teaching, training, coaching and mentoring).
She works with leaders, business owners, service based professionals and creatives. She help them to access more clarity and creativity, expand their capacity, discover new possibilities, become more effective leaders, create more harmonious relationships, achieve extraordinary results and experience more peace of mind, joy and fulfillment in their lives.
The episode started with Basia introducing herself (6:51) where she shares the time when she wrote the poem Drunk in Life (7:54) and how it reached Dell.
Kai was curious on how Basia's transformation affected her (22:11) where she shares that everything was easier because she now understands life. Dell agrees when Basia mentions that we usually try to figure out things when it was actually already figured out (25:55). She further adds that life is a game and we sometimes get caught up with life's chaos and the best way to overcome it would be to find the silence and stay in, letting the current guide you (28:22). Dell was curious on how to get into this stillness where she says that it's always there, you just need to find it.
Basia opens up that thoughts are given and we are unable to stop them (32:11). Dell agrees that it's what you do with that thought that matters (33:56). She further adds that they can ignore thoughts if they are really heavy or negative as they can lead you to overthinking. Kai was curious on how does she discern which thoughts she needs to act upon and which would be ignored (35:59) where she answers that it is usally based on feelings. She further elaborates why. . Basia then moves the conversation to emotions (37:34) in which how we deal with some emotions leads us to trouble. She says that we should not avoid the emotion but let it take its course instead, as we are programmed to self-heal (40:30). She adds that crying is a way of the body to self-heal and should not be avoided (41:11).
