This Episode features a healing manual therapy practice that literally says hugging can help heal you! After training in many bodywork techniques from massage + stretch therapy, reiki, joint balancing, physical therapy, and more, none have really spoken to the attention of each client as much as SRT does. SRT stands for Soft-Stretch Release Techniques and was developed by Ashly Wenzel and Chris Kalisz through their own journeys of manual and corrective therapies. Their passion for helping people live pain free by releasing emotional, and energetic baggage is obvious. Teaching from the philosophy that physical pain comes from many different places including (but not limited to) Emotions & Feelings, they have found a way to target localized joint capsules and specific muscle groups within the fascia of the body to help open, correct, repattern, and release tension. I am grateful to know them and even happier to help spread the word about SRT and how it may be able to help someone when they least expect it. This passively assisted "stretch" technique has more to it than meets the eye and is perfectly safe for elderly to infants and everyone in between!
