Biggest lesson I’ve learned in my Fitness journey…

I was 13 years old

I was upset at my circumstances

I couldn’t look in the mirror at myself because I was scared

I was scared to see myself without my shirt on

I was scared to wear tight tshirts because they made me think about my man boobs

I realized that the more I put this off the more I would continue to lie to myself

I was in denial

Lying to myself because I wasn’t facing myself

I never took a deep look in that mirror and acknowledged what was happening

The biggest lesson I learned in fitness is that you need to own your shit

I realized no one was gonna go to the gym for me, no one was gonna change the way I looked in that mirror expect me

If I didn’t hit the gym that’s on me

If I didn’t track my calories that’s on me

If I didn’t make a change that’s ON ME

Once you start owning your own shit, your problems, your appearance, it’s very hard to make excuses

If I had a family event come up that doesn’t effect my ability to hit the gym

If my friends are going out that doesn’t effect my ability to go to the gym

If I’m traveling that doesn’t mean I can’t hit a workout…

If there’s I don’t feel like going, I GO ANYWAYS

THIS WAS THE KEY!

Once I started taking ownership of myself

I started taking ownership of everything else in my life

I changed my major to something I wanted to learn about

I made deans list multiple times after almost failing out of school

I started my business where I show up to work because I CHOOSE TO DO SOMETHING I LOVE!

BUT YOU NEED TO TAKE START OWNING YOUR SHIT TO MAKE CHANGES

A fitness journey is a journey of course always benefits from support of others but it’s ON YOU if you want to change how you look
