The pandemic response resulted in state and local agencies making rapid changes to network systems so more government employees could access agency resources remotely. In many ways too, that laid the groundwork for organizations to bring more flexibility to how employees work in the future.

The increase in cloud and application adoption is driving changes in network topology that require state and local IT leaders to rethink their approach to security.

State and local government agencies continue to navigate through an onslaught of service demands while also supporting a workforce that must log into work from home.
