It’s Friday. It’s a big world out there. And you have a place in it. Today’s focus is big - the planet you live on.  Follow this pattern for Friday: John 15:11-12

These things I have spoken to you, that my joy may be in you, and that your joy may be full.This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you.

Everyone is desperate for illumination.  We claim Jesus to be the light of the world.  He himself is light and warmth.  He exposes the dark, secretive corners of your life.  Your sin is found out and dismantled.  Now it’s time for something new.  His light shimmers when it strikes your life.  You are reflective.  The world needs what you have.  Christ is in you.  Run into darkness.  Jesus said that you are the light of the world.  A city on a hill can’t be hidden.  A candle can’t be covered.  Your light is a protest to darkness.
