Professor Mansur is also a longtime member of the Conservative Party of Canada. 10 months ago, he registered his intent to seek the CPC nomination for the riding of London North in Ontario for the October 21 general election. The Professor received notification from the party that he is barred from seeking the CPC nomination for the London North riding.
