A middle school teacher gave students a list of hypothetical people, then asked the students who should live and who should die. The list included “a racist, armed police officer who has been accused of excessive force.” Is this an example of “politically correct” philosophies in our education system, or simply a lapse in judgment that failed to take into account what is appropriate for the children’s ages?
