In the heated social tensions of the 1950’s-1960’s, the Reverend King was a voice for peace, standing in the gap for the cause of racial equality, for humanity, for our Declaration, for God’s call to unity.  His passion and influence left a prominent mark for the sake of peace in his time, and the same call to unity, is the call for America today.  If those who are so filled with hate would simply humble themselves for the sake of unity, we could be united.  God established the order and set equality among men, the Founders echoed it, and it is up to every man this day to choose it.
