Tonight, we conclude this week with Part 3 of the events which led to the American Revolution.  Starting with Paul Revere, a Son of Liberty, he stepped up when men of passivity watched Britain enact greater control over the colonies.  He participated in the Boston Tea Party and regularly carried messages to the colonialists in neighboring states from his post in Boston.  After the Boston Massacre, Boston Tea Party, and the Intolerable Acts, tensions rose to the Battles of Lexington and Concord.  And this, still, over a year before The Declaration of Independence was declared.  Finally, a look at the man Thomas Paine, an Englishman, who moved to America during the time of the revolution and wrote pivotal pamphlets, which helped rally the cause of independence from Britain, and made his mark on history.  These are just a few of the men and events who carved out a great country, America.
