Hello I'm Brian Cooke.
I coach leaders who aim high and expect the best.
Here's Note #20 on Courage.
Got courage?
Here are several considerations to develop greater courage.
Preparation is a reliable foundation for great courage. Courage comes first to those who are well-prepared.
Courage is not the absence of fear. Courage is the willingness to face one’s fears and do our best no matter what the outcome may be.
Courage can be developed with practice. Each time we summon strength to attempt new or unfamiliar experiences we grow in skill, confidence, and courage.
A ship, it is said, is safest in port but that is not what a ship is made for.
Aim high. Dare to be the best you can be!
