LEADERSHIP: Notes for Coaching and Practice

Hello I'm Brian Cooke.

Here's Note #9 to help you get more out of coaching and practice.

Poor practice develops bad habits!

Here are five signs of poor practice.

Your attention and practice are not directed toward a specific fundamental or focus area.

You are easily distracted and unable to maintain attention.

You expect quick results and take short-cuts that interfere with your long-term development.

You are unable or unwilling to practice steadily day-to-day to build skills and confidence needed to achieve big things.

You do not take responsibility for your own learning and blame others or make excuses for poor or ineffective practice.
