Gary Lester is a MHU Investor’s Club member in Moscow, Idaho who bought a park with significant vacancy and saw an opportunity to bring in alternative housing types such as RVs, park models and “tiny homes”. But the ordinances did not allow these housing types on a long-term basis. So he took on the many hurdles of zoning and city hall and, in the end, won. In this week’s MHU Investor’s Club Special Report we’re going to discuss his story and how he was able to convince a city that his property could solve the affordable housing crisis using housing types in addition to mobile homes. If you have even one vacant lot that might appeal to alternative housing demand, then this discussion should be of interest.
