The very first version of what would eventually become known as the Windows operating system was released in November 1985. It was called Windows 1.0, and it was a 16-bit graphical operating environment that ran on top of MS-DOS. At the time, it was considered a huge step forward for personal computing. Windows 2.0, released in December 1987, added support for 32-bit apps and expanded the capabilities of the GUI. It wasn't until Windows 3.0, released in May 1990, that the operating system really began to take off.    Visit https://www.mqawnings.com/awning-gallery/
