In today's episode, Dave and Joe interview Dr. David Umulis!

Dr. Umulis is the Dane A. Miller Head and Professor of the Weldon School of Biomedical Engineering at Purdue University. His research focus is to investigate the regulation of signal transduction in development. Specifically, in elucidating mechanisms of robustness, cell fate decisions, and tissue patterning by morphogen gradients. Dr. Umulis is also an active mentor, hosting and recruiting students into laboratory rotations.

They discuss the ins and outs of Biomedical Engineering, what unique programs and experiences Purdue has to offer, what high school students interested in a career in engineering should be thinking about, and so much more!
