googled "spooky chord progressions" opened fruity loops kinda used one of the answers, except i got some chords wrong and inverted some things etc used fruity's hybridize presets feature about 14 times until i had a weird "lead" sound i liked using sytrus repeat process for trance pad sound went down the path of making things SUPER trancey for a while (sidechained kick, etc) then decided that wasn't in the spirit (boo) of the prompt removed kicks, slowed tempo down to 40 bpm. added throbbing bass thing. added automation. added detuned monster noise fx export mp3
