I actually met this cosplayer at BLERDCON but didn’t get to speak with her until much later. Her cosplays are very nontraditional as she crafts them all from yarn. That’s right, not EVA Foam, not Worbla, but Yarn. Given that her style is very unique I'm sure you know who I'm speaking of! If not, help me give a warm welcome to Yarn Goddess Cosplay.

She is a cosplayer based out of Atlanta Georgia. She started cosplaying in 2014. Her intro to cosplay came with one of the largest cosplay conventions on the east coast. That’s right good old Dragoncon. Her first few times at this convention she actually did not cosplay. But, when she finally did, she decided to cosplay as Yoruichi Shihouin from Bleach. After this cosplay debut, she was hooked. She then crafted Erza Scarlet from fairy tail and as we can see, it's grown so much from there.

So if your anything like me, then you do not know the difference between knitting and crocheting. Usually outfits constructed from EVA Foam go on to take the prize. So @Yarn Goddess Cosplay usually avoids cosplay contests. But, at BLERDCON, her outfit when on to impress not only me but the judges as well.
