Luke 15:11-24 is the parable of the prodigal son, and it follows two other parables about celebrating something that is lost. To the original hearers, the exaggeration in the parables shows just how ludicrous God's grace is. Dr. Jeff Leonard explains these parables as examples of God's grace.
