Tonight John concludes the Sermon On The Mount by finishing out Matthew 7:21-29. The challenge that presented itself tonight is what is our "why" for living? In verse 22 of Matthew 17 it is said that many will call upon the Lord claiming they have done miraculous works for the kingdom but the Lord will respond "I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness." The questions now that we must ask ourselves are: Are we living for ourselves and looking to impress God with works we have done and building our life upon that? Or are we looking to do the will of the Father, placing our faith and trust in Him,  the true  firm foundation and cornerstone of our life?
