Cyber threats still exist in the sky. Therefore, security controls within the Aviation industry is needed to protect the aircraft vessel, as well as it’s interconnected technology. Past investigations performed by hackers, researchers, and flight authorities have cast doubt on the industry’s perceived culture of safety. The need to address the novel challenges posed by modern-day cyber threats is evident and the importance is often overlooked. Nothing less than pure havoc would occur if compromise occurs.
