Earlier this week, Will and I talked over the possibility of returning to our physical worship space at 317 Main St in Argenta. It warmed and invigorated me to think of the possibility and to dream together of the renewed ministry and community we will share. Friday night, as small crowds of 3-5 passed by our church windows and cheerfully greeted each other on the way to dinner, I sat down at the piano to celebrate and prepare for our renewed life together again. — John Willis

I wanted us to having something a little cheery, whimsical even, to accompany us on on our walk through this Thanksgiving week. At a time when there is plenty to be vexed or perplexed about, let us endeavor to walk — at least part of the way — in gratitude. I don't really have any text to set it up; it just felt appropriate to be moving in the direction of gratitude as we approach what is sure to be a most unique experience of Thanksgiving. From a medieval prayer book dating back to the 16th century, the Sarum Primer is a wonderful prayer for the morning and throughout the day to invite an awareness of God's presence in all we do and in all we are. - John Willis
