Mariam is a senior biology major with a minor in biochemistry at Widener University. She is currently the President of the Biology club and a peer-learning assistant for biochemistry. She is naturally curious about biology and genuinely wants to help people however she can. Her research involves the study of the splicing proteins of insulin signaling pathways of fruit flies.
