Today we speak with sports commentator and former pro surfer Toby Martin @tobymartin_official. Toby comes to us from his home on the northern beaches of Dee Why, Australia. Toby remembers going on ocean swims with his Father and falls in love with the beach lifestyle. He remembers getting encouraging words from Shane Herring which motivated him to surf contests. Toby recalls he wasn't the best surfer but wanted to push to see how far he could go at competing and eventually made the world tour. He recollects while being on tour he had to surf against his good mates and he had to learn how to deal with that. Today at 49 Toby is still pushing his surfing limits by surfing 15 feet of surf and loving every minute.
