Today we sit down with Chris Abad @mrchrisabad at his home in Oceanside. Chris has his hand in all facets of the surf community in Oceanside. From the Boardrider's Club to the Oceanside HS surf team he is helping our surf community stay strong. Chris tells us what it was like graduating from high school and flying over to the North Shore that winter without a place to stay and being able to land a room at the Quicksilver house. He tells us what it was like working in the surf industry and traveling. Chris tells us how breaking his back was actually a positive experience. Listen to the harrowing story!
